On more than one occasion, alcohol consumption has been blamed for a man's decision to ride a cow -- it is called beer goggles.

Australians do it a little differently ...

A 27-year-old man has been charged with riding a horse while drunk after motorists complained about his riding skills in heavy traffic in the New South Wales Hunter Valley.

Mobile BAC Testing Unit To Visit Bar Area In Raleigh, NC


Starting Friday night, Raleigh bar patrons can find out what they would blow on a blood alcohol test if stopped by the cops -- from the safety of the sidewalk.

Alcohol Educators, Inc. will begin providing a new push cart vending service to downtown visitors. The "BLOW THIS" cart will be located in The Glenwood South area on Friday and Saturday nights this weekend from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., weather permitting.

They had a few bad experiences with IRC and AOL chat rooms, though) ... but they knew the dangers of alcohol, lonely nights and the ghosts of their pasts..

Before Microsoft Word, there was Wite-out

Some of us actually remember typing papers for college using a word processor, not word.exe. Wite-out was our friend. So was cheap vodka. However, we kept the two worlds separate, but equal. This driver decided to blur those lines (with video goodness):

Redesigning streets to make them more user-friendly for drunks could help reduce conflict and violence, scientists believe.


Researchers are using computer simulations to mimic the movements of people staggering home after a good night out.
